With the revision of Book 1 completed and Book 2 now making steady progress, I’ve decided to provide little snippet teasers to keep you going until the releases are public. You can sign up for my newsletter at the bottom of this page.
“So what’s the deal with this Korali guy? What does he want with my sister and I?”
“We don’t really know to be honest. We do know that there is a special level of power that develops within twins in our family but only every two thousand years roughly. Though there seems to be a noticeable gap in our history records during the last occurrence. Technically Kalian should know the details, but for some reason he refuses to share any information.”
“What’s up?” I ask him.
“Well, Kalian’s been mentoring me for a long time and sometimes he says things that don’t really make a whole lot of sense and that contradicts what we’re taught in school, but he always dismisses it and changes the subject if I question him. But, well, from what you’ve just said Kadrim, is it possible that Kalian had a twin brother?”
“Yes he did,” Ruana answers, “but his twin died when they were very young, so whatever development that might have occurred between them as twins never took place.”
Suddenly the vision from my dream surfaces, the young man and his dying twin; I grab the sheets listing the powers and finding what I’m looking for ‘merging’. I gasp.
“What’s wrong Amanae?” Mom asks.
“Exactly how ‘young’ was his twin when he died?”
“Oh, I’m not sure, I’ve never asked. Why?”
“I think I’ve had a vision of it. How old is he now?”
“Around nineteen hundred years I would think,” she answers.
“And my Awakening is about a hundred years ahead of schedule right?”
Dad nods, “Yes, which is another reason why there is so much importance around you and your sister.”
“But what exactly is so important about twins every two-thousand years?”
“That’s the information we can’t seem to get Kalian to part with,” Dad answers. “Other than cryptic information suggesting that you and your sister are going to be extremely powerful with an important destiny to come.”
